Bioreactor Installed in Carroll County

NEW Cooperative is a member of Agriculture Clean Water Alliance (ACWA) which paid for the installation of a bioreactor in Carroll County this week. The bioreactor uses wood chips with microorganisms that eat away nitrogen and carbon as the water passes through, while the saturated buffer uses plants to absorb nitrates.
