Guidelines

The NEW Cooperative Foundation prioritizes funding requests in key areas, including youth development and education, the advancement of agriculture and conservation, and community support services and development initiatives. Additionally, we are committed to supporting our locations, members and customers hometowns.

Donation Requests

If you are interested in receiving funding from the NEW Cooperative Foundation, download and fill out the PDF or use the online donation request form below to submit your request. Please be as thorough as possible. You may include any additional information or materials pertaining to how the requested funding will be used. Completing this form does not guarantee funding. Allow at least 4 weeks for approval of funding.

Scholarships

The NEW Cooperative Foundation annually provides scholarships to undergraduate students pursuing degrees in agriculture. The NEW Cooperative Foundation offers a minimum of ten (10) scholarships of $2,000 each awarded to undergraduates pursuing degrees in agriculture. We are also pleased to offer the Bob Wallentine Memorial Scholarship, awarding one $4,000 scholarship to a full-time student pursuing an Agricultural Business degree.  

We will be announcing our 2026 recipients by the middle of April.

2026 Superior Fertilizer Project

Site preparation for a new 15,000-ton dry fertilizer storage and blending facility at our Superior location began in November. Concrete work got underway in mid-February, and the project is on track for completion ahead of fall. This new facility will enhance efficiency and strengthen our ability to serve members across northwest Iowa and southern Minnesota.
